Safety in the cargo tank -

Safety in the cargo tank - <BR>effective level, pressure and switching instrumentation with space-saving multisensor flange
Reliable and simple tank content measurement with the multisensor flange
The plics® line of sensors developed by VEGA Grieshaber KG offers a standardised housing, indicating and adjustment concept. The compact plics® sensors enable a central installation of level, pressure and switching instrumentation on one multisensor flange. For shipyards and ship owners, the central layout of the sensors brings considerable cost advantages compared with individual mounting on separate process connections.

The VEGAPULS 63 radar sensor has the task of continuously measuring the level in the cargo tank. Its encapsulated antenna system with the absolutely front-flush antenna enables quick and uncomplicated cleaning of the tanks. The VEGABAR 52 pressure transmitter with its especially rugged ceramic measuring cell measures tank and line pressures. The wear-free VEGASWING 63 vibrating level switches (without moving parts) provide reliable monitoring of high and overfill alarm.

The test keys on the limit level sensors as well as the additional UTI socket mounted on the flange make the required on-board system tests as easy as child's play.

The multisensor flange offers reliable and simple cargo tank content measurement and reduces the mounting costs for the shipyard as well as the service costs for the shipping company.
