VEGA Grieshaber KG - world market leader in the area of radar level measurement

VEGA radar sensors ensure reliable performance even under extreme conditions - from vacuum up to 160 bar and temperatures from -40 °C to +400 °C.
 
During ACHEMA 2006, taking place from 15th to 19th May, VEGA will present radar instruments for various level measurement applications. Beside the reliable sensors for applications in liquids, VEGA will also present VEGAPULS 68, especially developed for bulk solids. With its optimised signal processing VEGAPULS 68 is suitable for difficult applications in bulk solids - unaffected by process temperatures, extreme dust generation or strong filling noise.

VEGA was founded in 1959 in the Black Forest and now employs 850 people worldwide (450 at the headquarters in Schiltach). Here, solutions are created for demanding measurement tasks in chemical and pharmaceutical plants, in the food processing industry and drinking water supply, in sewage plants and disposals, in the mining and power generation, on oil-platforms, ships and even in aircrafts.

Ten subsidiaries, two joint venture companies in the United States and China as well as sales agencies worldwide point out VEGA's international presence. In Europe VEGA is represented in 32, in North and South America in 11, in Africa and Near East in 13, and in Asia and Australia in 15 countries.
