From September 26th to 28th, 2006 numerous visitors from around the world visited VEGA's booth in the Hamburg exhibition halls. The worldwide boom in the shipbuilding and energy industries has intensified the demand for technology for these areas.
Ships chandlers, shipyards and ship owners got informed on VEGA's solutions for measuring tank contents on ships and offshore platforms. The main focus of the presentation was VEGA's newly developed tank measuring system - a switching cabinet with sensor supply and signal processing as well as all necessary tank sensors. The system combines tried-and-true plics® sensor technology with intelligent measurement data processing and thus provides ship-wide tank content data from one source.
