New interface adapter VEGACONNECT with USB connection

VEGACONNECT 4 connects the USB interface of the PC with the communication interface of plics instruments. It is plugged directly into the sensor electronics and connected via USB cable to the PC. An additional power supply is not required.

Under the new designation VEGACONNECT, VEGACONNECT 4 is supplied with a practical transport and junction box. This box houses VEGACONNECT 4 and enables access to the instruments via the 4 ... 20 mA/HART signal line. All necessary cables and adapters belong to the scope of delivery and are located in the box. The DTM for integrating VEGACONNECT4 into PACTware is included in the new DTM Collection 01/2007.

During the introduction phase VEGACONNECT 4 can be connected to the S instruments from the vega-line pricelist, the PLICSRADIO as well as the series 50 VEGABAR pressure transmitters. The extended version of  VEGACONNECT which will enable connection to all plics instruments will be available from July 2007..
